By WJBD Staff Aug 8, 2024 | 8:31 AM

The theme has been announced for this year’s Fall Fest in Mt. Vernon.  It is ‘Rev Up at Mt. Vernon Fall Fest’.

The festival will be held on September 27th and 28th this year.

Organizers say this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with FREE live entertainment both days on the main stage. Festival-goers will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including festival foods, great music, shopping from a wide array of vendors, participating in the parade, visiting the beer/wine tent, checking out classic cars and trucks, and much more.

Festival Director Angela Schrum says the theme is a collaboration of recognizing their Saturday headliner, some of their faithful sponsors, including Continental Tire which is celebrating 50 years in Mt. Vernon, and the excitement Fall Fest brings to the community.

The entertainment lineup for the festival includes performances by Southern Grit Band and HunterGirl on Friday, September 27th, and Stir of Echoes, Danger Party, and Fuel on Saturday, September 28th.

“We are excited to bring such talented artists to the main stage this year,” said Mt. Vernon Festivals, Inc. President and Entertainment Chair, Jason Hulbert. “We can’t wait to see everyone come out and enjoy the music, food, and fun that the Mt. Vernon Fall Festival has to offer.”
