By Austin Williams Aug 6, 2024 | 1:46 PM

The Boulder Campground at Carlyle Lake is getting a new shower building facility.  The US Army Corps of Engineers says the campground will close early for the season, on Sunday, September 29th, to allow for demolition and construction of the new facility this fall.

The US Army Corps of Engineers at Carlyle Lake say they are committed to providing a high quality camping experience while minimizing maintenance challenges associated with aging infrastructure.

All reservation made during the closed period have been cancelled and refunded.  To accommodate the cancellations, the Coles Creek Campground will remain open through Monday, October 14th.  Any campers affected by the closures are highly encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible.  You may visit recreation.gov or by calling Recreation One Stop toll free at 877-444-6777.
