Two Centralia residents were injured when a motorcycle crashed on Selmaville Road when hitting a dead dog in the roadway.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say 45-year-old Tara Cottrill of Cherry Street in Centralia was driving the cycle when the crash occurred near Bryant Lane. Cottrill along with a 14-year-old female passenger from Centralia were both taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
Cottrill was later airlifted to a St. Louis Hospital for medical treatment.
The crash occurred at 9:19 on Saturday night.
