Vandalia Vandals wrestling was well represented at the Deep South Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama.

Incoming Senior Tyson Waughtel went 5-0 winning all 5 matches by tech fall on his way to the title.  Junior Dillon Hinton also went 5-0 on the day with a pin in the finals on his way to the title.  Incoming sophomore Preston Waughtel was 6-0 on the day with only 1 match going the distance on his way to a title.

8^th grader Riley Hinton finished 2^nd in the 13u Division.

Incoming senior Kaden Tidwell and sophomore Brody Matthews will compete today as well in the dual team tournament alongside Tyson and Preston.
