A 27-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court Friday to aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude police.

Brady Collins of Shattuc Road admitted to attempting to flee a Centralia Police officer in July of last year at Poplar and 17th Street.  The charge states he exceeded 21 miles per hour over the speed limit during the chase.

The prison term will run concurrently with other prison time earlier handed down.  After getting out of prison, Collins will have to serve six months mandatory supervised released.
