Marion County Sheriff’s Department investigating two burglaries and theft

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two burglaries and a theft reported to the department on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s department was told locks on a storage shed had been cut off and the door damaged in the 2800 block of Lazy Acre Road in rural Odin.  However, nothing was immediately noticed as missing.

The sheriff’s department was alerted to a burglary to a building in the 2100 block of Copple Road in rural Centralia.  A horse saddle is reported missing.  A car was also stolen.

A semi trailer was reported stolen from the 100 block of West Vine in Vernon sometime in the last three weeks.  He believes a third party has now purchased the trailer.
