The Salem and Centralia Water Treatment Plants have released the final rainfall figures for July, and they are up considerably from last year.

The Salem Water Plant recorded 13.34 inches of rain during July, more than four times the amount of rain we received in July of last year when 3.51 inches was recorded.  The total rainfall for the first seven months of the year has also surged to 39 inches, nearly 13 inches more than the same period last year.
