The City of Salem has announced the resurfacing of portions of Kell Street and North College Street will get underway on Monday.
Kell Street will be improved from Route 37 to 332 West Kell near the bridge just east of South College Street. North College will receive an overlay from Boone to Broughton Street behind Salem Township Hospital.
Neither street will be closed completely or overnight, although there will be periods of time there will be closures and residents are asked to plan alternate routes. Those who utilize the streets for through travel should also plan another route to avoid delays. Weather will dictate how long the project will take to complete. The city apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates everyone’s cooperation.
Rooters American Maintenance is completing the projects at a cost of $371,300.
