The Greater Salem Area Foundation will host its annual swim event from three to five Sunday afternoon at the Salem Family Aquatic Center. Admittance includes refreshments.
A foundation official says the event is made possible by major sponsors that include Modern Woodmen, City of Salem, Farm Fresh Market in Salem, Pepsi MidAmerica, and United Medical Response.
The Greater Salem Area Foundation provides financial and material assistance to residents of the Salem Community High School District who are experiencing hardships. The Greater Salem Area Foundation is funded solely on contributors’ donations, and 100 percent of the profits go to the foundation’s mission.
