Brick Hill Road remains underwater. This photo was taken by Pat Hodges on Wednesday afternoon.

Flood waters are continuing to recede across Southern Marion County and some roads are reopening.

Salem Township Road Commissioner Joe Telford reports water levels are down along Crooked Creek and the Robin Road, South College Extension, South Hotze, South Hoots Chapel, and West Line Road have reopened to traffic.   As a result of Westline Road reopening, the detour for the Odin Road closure utilizing Westline Road is once again available.

Norton Road in the Crooked Creek bottoms is still closed.

Brick Hill Road below Raccoon Lake still has deep water across it.  The condition should be improving as only one gate of Raccoon Lake is open six inches.

Crossings on roads in the Skillet Fork Bottoms in eastern Marion County are still underwater.

IDOT reports Dubois Blacktop from U-51 to IL-127 in Washington County remains closed.  Route 148 between Waltonville and the Big Muddy River in Jefferson County has reopened.
