Both drivers were injured in a Friday morning crash at one of the entrances to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
Centralia Police say a pickup truck driven by 81-year-old Ronald Jackson of Crestwood Lane in Centralia was northbound on Pleasant attempting to turn into the St. Mary’s Hospital parking lot when he drove into the path of a southbound car driven by 19-year-old Ankja Moffett of East Rexford in Centralia.
Both drivers were transported to the emergency room by Lifestar Ambulance.
Jackson was ticketed for improper lane usage.
