The South Central 16u Storm Chasers traveled to Diamond Sports Promotion’s Top Collegiate Invitational at Illinois State University. They went 3-1 on the weekend and missed bracket play by just 2 runs.
South Central opened with a 14-7 win over ESP Select Red. They followed that up with their only loss of the weekend, falling to GRB Rays Green 3-1. SC bounced back and beat the Yard Goats 4-3 and finished tournament play with a 7-4 win over the ESP Americans.
