The Blue Steel 14u Black finished 3rd at the USAV National Volleyball Tournament in Las Vegas. The team is based out of O’Fallon and coached by former Freeburg, and newly hired Mascoutah volleyball coaches Brooke and Dan Kloess. It’s the first medal at Nationals for any Blue Steel team. They came in to the tournament ranked 44th. Congrats to the Blue Steel on a great trip to Vegas and representing Illinois proudly.
The 15U Select team was also competing in Vegas this week for nationals. That team includes Salem incoming freshman Quinn Wolfe.
