The University of Kansas baseball program just earned their first D1baseball.com Freshman All-American in program history, and it went to Columbia graduate Dominic Voegele. Voegele, who finished the 2024 season as the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, an All-Big 12 Second Team selection, and a Big 12 All-Freshman Team selection, had one of the best freshman seasons in Jayhawk history. He posted a 7-2 record and 3.89 ERA in 81.0 innings pitched. He threw eight quality starts and recorded 80 strikeouts.
