Congratulations to the Southern Illinois Select 17u who traveled to Orlando Florida and won the D1 World Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The SI Select is coached by former Marion Wildcats, Sam and Riley Swinford. Members of the team include Nathaniel Marlow Gage Peterson, Kaden Rogowski, Jalon Ellis, Lucas Westendorf, Griffin Briles, Wade Brannon and Ian Brantley.
I had the privilege of coaching Nathaniel Marlow a couple years ago in AAU ball and knew then he was going to have an amazing career. Marlow is a 6-3 junior-to-be at Webber Township. He already has 1220 points and averaged 23.2 per game last season and was named the Midland Trail Conference MVP in his 2nd year.
