It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Bryce Jordan Williams Holzhauer, who left this world on his 26th birthday, Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born on Monday, June 21, 1999, in Centralia, the son of Amber Holzhauer and Todd Williams.
Bryce brought joy and levity to all who knew him. He cherished the great outdoors, finding solace and adventure in camping, fishing, and hiking. His love for nature was only surpassed by his love for his family, with whom he shared many cherished moments and lasting memories. Bryce will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, his laughter and joy echoing through the hearts of his loved ones forever.
Bryce is survived by his devoted parents, Amber Holzhauer and Todd Williams, both of Centralia. His legacy is carried on by his cherished siblings: Hailey Straith, Parker Straith, Eriana Opolony, Makynzee Williams, and Austin Barbre, all from Centralia. He will be fondly remembered by his supportive grandparents and great-grandmother: Steve and Brenda Holzhauer of West Frankfort; Dana and Albert Woodrome of Centralia; Mike and Rhonda Grimes of Centralia; Dennis Williams and Jennifer of Kell; and his beloved great-grandmother Betty Mayoral of Centralia.
A treasure to his extended family, Bryce leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, including Brayden Erlinger, currently serving in the US Navy. He will always be remembered by his aunts and uncles: Derek Williams and wife Candice of Centralia, Chad Williams of Centralia, Jamie Dukes and husband Blake of Central City, Tiffany Foos and husband Mike of Centralia, Tiffany Holzhauer of Centralia, April Schliepe of Michigan, Amanda Hapke of Colorado, Kendra Hapke of Colorado, Jessica Ielase and husband Nick of West Frankfort, and Mark Grimes of Centralia.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Willard Parck; Jack and Emily McPhail; Alberta “Grandma Budda” and Ralph Veltman; two beloved uncles, Michael Grimes and Ryan Pike; and two cherished great aunts, Kara Gold and Debbie Holzhauer.
A Celebration of Bryce’s life will be held through a funeral service officiated by Pastor Thomas Hunter on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the Funeral Home. In memory of Bryce, the family requests that memorial donations be made to support the family during this difficult time.
