Police Beat for Thursday, June 27th, 2024

Centralia Police have arrested a 32-year-old Centralia man on multiple charges.  Jeffrey Parker of South Lakeshore was taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery, criminal damage to property and aggravated assault.

Salem Police arrested 27-year-old Brittany Finley of West Kell in Salem for alleged domestic battery.  She is accused of grabbing the hair of another female at the residence.

Four others were taken to the Marion County Jail on no bond failure to appear warrants.

  • 38-year-old Derek Caswell of East Angling Road in Mt. Vernon was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at the courthouse on a Washington County DUI warrant.
  • 46-year-old James Smith of South Perrine in Centralia was arrested on a Clinton County felony warrant and was later transferred to the Clinton County Jail at Carlyle.
  • 32-year-old Jakob Jones of Delores Street in Centralia was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a Marion County misdemeanor warrant.
  • 40-year-old Holly Greenlee of Roddy Road in Salem was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant.
