Sharon “Jane” Rizzo, 82, of Sandoval passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 3, 1942, in Salem, the daughter of Howard and Helen (Webb) Fearing.
Survivors that will always remember Jane’s kindness and warmth include her beloved family, her children, Leah (Gary) Rudolph of Sandoval, Frank (Aislinn) Rizzo of Sandoval, Nicki (Scott) Newell of Waltonville; precious grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Jamie, Kenny, Stacie, Morgan, David, Michael, Jordan, Colin, and Kevin; several great- grandchildren; brother, Howard Fearing of Salem; sister, Claudia Fearing of Salem; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Helen Fearing; sisters, Cheryl Ann Fearing, and Joy LaVonne Fearing; children, Shane Miller, and Maria Rizzo. Jane was not afraid of hard work, diligently taking care of all details needed to complete her work at the factory. In fact, Jane was always working, ready to lend a helping hand and putting off resting to start a new project. Jane loved watching the robins that visited her birdbath and liked to treat them with blueberries. Her greatest joy was evident in the time and love she gave to her family. Jane was an amazing Granny, who jumped at the chance to spend time with her grandkids. Grandma Jane was the very best listening ear, cheerleader, advise sharer, and unconditional love giver. To be a part of her family was to never doubt how much you were loved by Jane. Jane was generous, fun to spend time with, the matriarch of her family and a loyal friend. Cherished memories of Jane will be forever treasured by all who knew and loved her.
