A 26-year-old Salem man was airlifted by medical helicopter from the scene of a one car crash early Tuesday morning on the Walnut Hill Road southeast of Centralia.
Preliminary information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates Damien Nelson of South College left the 1500 block of Walnut Hill Road with his car ending up on its top in the yard of a home.
Nelson was trapped in the vehicle and removed by members of the Centralia Fire Protection District.
The crash was reported at 3:06 Tuesday morning.
