Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested 42-year-old Emmy Steward of Hoots Chapel Road in Odin for domestic battery following an altercation at her home. Steward was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a first court appearance.
Sandoval Police arrested 63-year-old Dennis Pannell of South Mulberry Street in Sandoval for driving on a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later given a notice to appear in court.
23-year-old Rodney Cassidy of Boone Street Road in Salem was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on a no bond St. Clair County warrant.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called out Thursday morning to a report of black smoke coming out of one of the smoke stacks at Schutt Sports on South Broadway. The smoke apparently was the result of a burn off united starting up. There was no fire and firemen say the smoke dissipated quickly.
