Salem Police have made an arrest for aggravated assault and criminal damage to property in connection with an incident that occurred in the Salem Walmart parking lot on May 11th.

Police say Brian Needy of North George Road in Dix allegedly threatened a Walmart employee as part of a domestic dispute.  He is then accused of later slashing three tires on the employee’s vehicle after he went back inside the store.   The employee discovered the damage when he later was driving off the parking lot when leaving work.

Police report Needy was identified as responsible for the tire slashing through a review of video surveillance of the parking lot.  Neely was taken into custody on Tuesday when located by police.
