Homeless Centralia man charged with four different offenses in Marion County Court

A 21-year-old homeless Centralia man faces four new criminal charges all on different days.

Jacob Dickerson was charged in Marion County Court on Monday with a June 3rd burglary to a building in the 400 block of East Noleman with intent to commit a theft.  He’s charged with a June 14th misdemeanor criminal trespass to real property charge for entering the Huck’s Store on East Calumet with prior notice his entry was prohibited.  Dickerson is also charged with misdemeanor retail theft at the Roll ‘N Up Smoke Shop on East Noleman on June 15th and then misdemeanor criminal trespass to Roll ‘N Up Smoke Shop for entering the store where he had been banned on the following day.

During his first appearance in court, Dickerson had a public defender appointed to represent him and a preliminary hearing set for July 16th.  He was then released on pretrial conditions.
