Larry Gillett, age 59 of Brownstown, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Twin Willows Nursing Center in Salem.
Larry was born on June 18, 1965, in Centralia, the son of Charles L. and Rita Kay (Eagan) Gillett.
Survivors include his mother, Rita Kay Wilkinson of Salem; sister, Rita Donley of Salem; and brother, Bob Gillett and wife Marla of Kinmundy; nieces and nephews, Casey Voshage and husband Chris, Seth Gillett, Tyler Gillett and wife Oceana, Anna Gillett, Sarah Gillett, and Emma Gillett; great-niece and great-nephews, Dresden Bell, Dane Bell, Jonathon Voshage, Nataliyah Voshage, Caraline Gillett, Cayman Gillett, and Raelynn Schoonover.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Gillett; stepfather, Marvin P. Wilkinson; and brother-in-law, Bill Donley.
Larry was of the Christian Faith. He was employed as a factory worker for many years, ending his career at Radiac. He enjoyed watching Western movies, planting and tending to his fruit trees, and in the past, enjoyed deer hunting.
Funeral services for Larry Gillett will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lovell Grove 1880 Cemetery in Omega. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children and can be received at the funeral home.
