Concert set at Salem Community Activity Center Friday night

By Austin Williams Jun 14, 2024 | 2:03 PM

Cloverdayle, a Nashville, Tennessee band that recently moved their home base to Salem, will be in concert Friday night at the Salem Community Activity Center.

There will be no admission charge.  A donation will be taken for the band.  Donations will also be accepted for the Salem Community Activity Center that is struggling to stay afloat as donations have dropped.  There will also be food available for purchase and a cash bar benefitting the Community Center.

The center’s board chair Michelle Daniels says a number of large annual donations are no longer being received leaving questions if the center will be able to keep its doors open in the future.   She hopes this event and other activities being planned can fill the gap.

Cloverdayle has shared the stage with Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Lady A, Tim McGraw, Leann Rimes, Jason Aldean and Wynonna Judd.  Their original song “It Is What It Is” is featured in CBC’s TV show Heartland which can currently be seen on Netflix.

Doors will open at six.  The concert with Cloverdayle begins at seven.
