Peggy Halford, 89, of Iuka, was called home by her Savior on May 31st, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born August 14th, 1935, in Iuka to Erwin and Louise (Pickett) Wiehle.
Peggy was a devoted member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Iuka, where she decorated the Church with flower arrangements and volunteered whenever needed. She was an extremely hard worker throughout her life, as she was a beautician for many years, and then in her later years, she was a cook at Salem Community High School. She refinished furniture as well as doing upholstery work. Her home was decorated throughout with her personal artwork and her extensive doll collection. She also raised cattle for over 20 years, until she was made to give that up. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son: Michael Graner and Dana Lacquement; grandson, Jordan Graner; great-grandson, Cade Graner-Green; sister, Patricia Timm; and sister-in-law, Stella Wiehle.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Erwin and Louise Wiehle; husband, Thomas Halford; daughter, Christina Marie Graner; brother, Leroy; and sisters, Linda and Erwina.
