A 54-year-old Salem man has had his pre-trial release revoked and sent to the Marion County Jail after allegedly showing up Tuesday under the influence for a sentencing hearing on a petition to revoke his probation.

The public defender for Bryan Hester of East Rainey moved to continue the sentencing hearing due to the impairment.

Judge Mark Stedelin reset the sentencing for June 25th and ordered Hester held in the Marion County Jail for violating his pre-trial release.

Hester was initially sentenced to probation on an aggravated domestic battery case, but a petition to revoke probation was later filed for violating the terms of his probation.
