Justin Allen Ely, aged 34, of Centralia, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
Born in Granite City, Illinois, on October 19, 1990, the son of Gary Ely and Tammie (Young) Ely.
Justin’s absence will be profoundly felt by Amber Crump, his beloved partner, and his adoring children Alexavier Miller, Aliyah Crump, Lilyana (Ely) Easley, Madysin Ely, and Jordyn Ely, all residing in Centralia. He was eagerly anticipating the joy of welcoming two grandchildren into the world. Justin is also survived by his devoted siblings: Shannon Burlingame of Sorento, Jammie Melton and her husband Christopher, Beth Ely, and Brian Ely, all of Centralia. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces and nephews who admired him deeply.
Justin is remembered fondly by his family and friends for his zest for life, humor, and a knack for fixing anything he set his mind to. He was often found immersed in projects, creating something new or rejuvenating something old. He had a fondness for “slut machines” (Slot Machines) and was renowned for his humor and lighthearted mischief, always the life of the party and a source of laughter for those around him. Above all, his family was his greatest treasure, and he prioritized their happiness above everything else.
Justin is preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Tammie Ely, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
In honor of Justin’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and no public services will be held at this time.
