Two 17-year-old juveniles from Centralia have been arrested in connection with two Sunday vehicle burglaries.
The first stolen vehicle was a pickup truck taken from a home on Bethel Road in rural Sandoval. It was later found abandoned off the 900 block of East Rexford in Centralia.
The second vehicle was located after it crashed into a ditch along Old US 51 south of the Colonial Golf Course around 5:30 Sunday night. The owner didn’t realize the SUV was missing until contacted by the sheriff’s department following the crash.
The two girls have been released to guardians pending court action.
