Both occupants of a car that ran off the Green Street Road late Thursday night refused hospital treatment for apparent minor injuries.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports Thomas Hays of West Washington in Farina was traveling southbound in the 2200 block of Green Street Road south of the Bell Club Road when he lost control on the curve due to a mechanical issue. His vehicle then left the south side of the road, rolled over and came to rest on its wheels in the ditch.
Both Hays and a 17-year-old juvenile male passenger from Farina were able to get out of the car on their own. After being checked by Lifestar Ambulance the two declined hospital treatment.
The crash occurred around eleven Thursday night.
