Sandra Cribbs, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born on Saturday, September 6, 1941 in Belleville, the daughter of Dallas “Teddy” Warren and Irene Warren.
Sandra was a devoted homemaker, who was passionate about taking care of her family and keeping her home pristine. Her love for family gatherings, holidays, and special occasions filled her home with warmth, laughter, and joy.
Sandra is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Fuhler of Carlyle; her beloved grandchildren: Brad Fuhler and Aspen of Aviston, Brianna Lane and her fiancé, Wade Geralds, of Okawville, and Keely Dunnigan of Collinsville. She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren: Rhyker Hicks, Renley Hicks, and Weston Geralds, who were the light of her life. Sandra is also survived by her dear sister, Shirley Wesselman of O’Fallon, and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her son: Kevin Paule; her daughter: Christine Dunnigan; her son-in-law: Scott Fuhler; and her brother-in-law: Ed Wesselman.
A private family entombment will take place later this week at the Hillcrest Lakeside Mausoleum in Centralia, where Sandra will be laid to rest. Those wishing to honor Sandra’s memory with a gesture of kindness are encouraged to make memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Donations will be graciously accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801.
