Christ Our Rock sophomore Landyn Mitchell has made the finals at the IHSA Class 1a State Track and Field Meet at Eastern Illinois University in Charelston. Mitchell won heat #1 of the 110m High Hurdles in a time of 15.34s edging Kyden Boyer of Marshall by :01. Mitchell will compete tomorrow in the state finals and will come in ranked #3 in time.
Today Salem’s Caleb Smith will compete in the discus and shot put preliminaries and Madden Thompson will jump in the High Jump.
