In Little League Minors last night, Country Financial beat Route 50 Auto Repair 14-4. Benson Orrill pitched 3 innings in the win and struck out 6. Liam Ryan finished the game on the mound striking out 3. Karsyn Guidish, Orrill, Easton Keller and Jaxon Rector had 2 hits each. In the loss, Reed Knapp, Logan Howe and Lewis Eddy had hits. Howe and Knapp pitched.
In softball action, Bandy’s walked off on Max Dye 7-6. Julianna Rushing led Max Dye with 3 hits and 3 RBI. Jayla Tabor also drove in a run. Nakita Jones had a big single that scored a run. Kaylee Carroll allowed four hits and 2 earned runs in 2 innings with 6 strikeouts and no walks. Gaston had 2 hits.
