The Salem 10u Rushing Lady Cats took 3rd at the Vandalia Tournament over the weekend. They knocked off the Fayette County Freedom Bowers in the trophy game 13-5.
Salem opened the tournament on Saturday with an 11-3 win over Fayette County Peterson with Kaylee Carroll had 13 strikeouts in the win.
They also beat the Collinsville Extreme 14-4 Skylar Gaston and Julianna Rushing pitching in the win.
Sunday they lost to the SEMO Intensity 3-2 in the semifinals before their trophy game win.
