The South Central Lady Cougars are champions of their own regional held at Deep Rock Energy Field in Kinmundy with a 6-0 win over Red Hill. They will advance to the Altamont Sectional where they get the Hustonville Champion today played between Altamont and Windsor/Stew-Stras.
In 2a title games yesterday, St Anthony won the Effingham Regional beating Teutopolis 6-4, Newton at home in 9 innings beat Flora 1-0, Wesclin nipped Columbia in Trenton 5-4 and Mater Dei won the Vandalia title shutting out Carlyle 2-0.
The 1a/2a softball regional title games are also today.
Odin/Patoka/Sandoval will start at 11am from Edwards County when they take on the host Lady Lions.
