The Salem Wildcats dropped their game at Centralia today 6-4. The Orphans took a 3-1 lead after the opening inning and never trailed after that.
Salem got a leadoff home run by Jalen Inlow, his first varsity home run, to lead off the game. Keaton Gullion added a double and scored, Ryan Detering hit his first varsity home run as well and Kam Wilkins had 2 hits and drove in a run.
Ayden Rose took the loss going 4 innings allowing 8 hits 5 runs with 4 strikeouts. Rhett Detering thew the final 2 innings. Mike Organ led Centralia with 2 hits and 2 RBI, Cruz Harlan doubled going 2-4 with 2 runs scored.
Salem returns to action at home today against Olney.
