The Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Lady Eagles advanced to the 1a regional championship at Edwards County after their 13-2 win over Grayville yesterday. Lexi Calhoun and Harley Harper had 3 hits each. Hailey Lane and Madie Garrett had 2 hits and Jena Howell singled. Lane was the winning pitcher with 9 strikeouts. OPS will play Edwards County Saturday in the finals after their 10-0 win over Wayne City.
Also in 1a at Okawville, Christ Our Rock opened with a 2-1 win over Woodlawn. Emma Williamson drove in both Stallion runs in the third inning. Katie Oelze added a double, Alayna French added a hit and run. Williamson also was the complete game winner in the circle allowing 4 hits and no earned runs with 7 strikeouts. The Stallions advance to take on the host Lady Rockets who beat Father McGivney 5-3.

In 2a regional action, TTown beat Pana at St Anthony 8-6, Carmi 1-0 over Mt Carmel at Fairfield followed by Fairfield beat Hamilton County 3-1, Staunton beat Roxna 4-2 at Gillespie. Over at Newton, the hosts beat Lawrenceville 6-3 and Flora nipped Robinson 2-1. At Wesclin, Columbia beat Wood River 10-3 and will play Wesclin in the finals after their 9-4 win over Breese Central.
Today in 2a, Harrisburg and West Frankfort play from Anna, Carmi takes on the hosts at Fairfield, Johnston City hosts Nashville followed by Red Bud and Pinckneyville.
