Colton Cartright struck out 10 batters as the starting pitcher led Somer Realty past Schmidt Ford 11-3 on Monday. Colton Cartright gave up zero hits and three runs over six and one-third innings while walking three.

Colton Cartright collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Colton Cartright doubled in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the seventh inning.

Somer Realty were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored two runs.

Somer Realty scored six runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Jayce Morton drew a walk, scoring one run, Nicholi Marhanka drew a walk, scoring one run, Colton Cartright doubled, scoring two runs, Brendan Smith grounded out, scoring one run, and Drew Consolino grounded out, scoring one run.

Jax led things off on the bump for Schmidt Ford. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and eight runs (five earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking eight. Drew Consolino collected the save.

Garrett Beal provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Somer Realty with four runs batted in. Somer Realty had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 10 walks for the game. Nicholi Marhanka and Brendan Smith led the team with two walks each. Colton Cartright and Brendan Smith each stole multiple bases for Somer Realty. Somer Realty stole eight bases in the game.

Trip provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Schmidt Ford with two runs batted in. They went 1-for-2 on the day.
