The Lady Cats are 22-7 with their 10-0 home win over Crab Orchard. After having Senior Day rained out last week, they honored their only Senior, Olivia Paulson, before yesterday’s game. Lilly Blagoue was the winning pitcher striking out 9 and also went 3-3 with 2 RBI including her 13th homer of the year. Paulson was 4-4 with 3 RBI and also hit her 9th homer of the season. Bre Thurman, Marah Johnson and Alivia Rasul had 2 hits each. Mya Russell, Izzy Decker and Rasul all drove in runs.
Also in regular season softball action, Highland shutout Civic Memorial 3-0, Red Bud 11-2 over Marion and Waltonville beat Odin/Patoka/Sandoval 12-0.
