The Salem Lady Wildcats soccer team will travel to Triad to take on the Lady Knights to open up their 2a Regional. Salem enters at 2-15-and-2 on the season and is led by sophomore Jordan Kessler who is already the programs all time leading scorer and will try to help her team to the upset. Kickoff is at 4:30.
The 2nd game at Triad will see Centralia taking on Highland.
Also in 2a regional semifinals, Freeburg takes on Harrisburg at Carbondale followed by the Lady Terriers and Marion. Charleston will host Mascoutah. At Waterloo the hosts take on Anna followed by Mount Vernon and Carterville.
In 1a soccer regional championships today, Columbia hosts Murphysboro, Mater Dei takes on Roxana at Metro East Lutheran in Edwardsville, Father McGivney hosts Wesclin, Staunton is at Greenville, Marquette plays Litchfield at Hillsboro and Gibault hosts Althoff.
