The Salem Lady Wildcats split their games at Greenville on Saturday. Salem beat Carlyle 2-0. Mya Russell doubled and drove in a run along with Olivia Paulson. Lilly Blagoue struck out 9 and allowed 3 hits in the win.
Salem then fell to Wesclin 4-3. Blagoue and Paulson doubled for Salem with Thurman , Paulson and Nat Lee driving in Salem runs. Thurman struck out 9 and allowed just 1 earned run in the loss.
The Lady Cats added a home game with Crab Orchard today, and will serve as their Senior Day after it was rained out last week. Salem’s lone senior Olivia Paulson will be honored.
