New felony charges were filed against two people in Marion County Court on Tuesday.
23-year-old Azreal Lashbrook of North Highway 37 in Mt. Vernon has been charged with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle. He was allegedly stopped in a stolen 2003 truck by Centralia Police during a March 24th traffic stop at Lincoln and Broadway. Lashbrook has been given a notice to appear in court for May 10th.
46-year-old John Johnston of North Walnut in Salem has been charged with possession of under five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine. He was arrested by Centralia Police on April 29th. The public defender has been appointed to represent him. A preliminary hearing has been set for May 28th.
