2025 04/28 – Clint Taylor

Clint Taylor, cherished son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the age of 30.

He was born in Centralia, Illinois, on June 27, 1994, the son of Doug Taylor and Marla (Mueller) Taylor.

Clint’s adventurous spirit and generous nature touched many lives. He had a passion for fishing, spending countless peaceful hours by the water’s edge. His love for animals was evident in how he cared for them and advocated on their behalf. He found joy and expression in the art of tattooing, and his skill on the bicycle was admired by many. Through his acts of kindness and his eagerness to help others, Clint left a legacy of compassion and warmth. He will be remembered for his unbounded kindness, his love for his family, and his adventurous spirit. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in the memories of the joy and love he brought into our lives.

Clint is survived by his parents, Doug Taylor and wife Karen, and his loving mother, Marla Taylor; his daughter, Freya Taylor, who was the light of his life; his grandmother, Kay Crooks; and his siblings, Aaron Taylor, Cory Norville, Dwight Taylor, Myra Gallatin, and Amber Kimberling and his lifelong best friend, Bryan Maxwell. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss his humor and gentle spirit.

“He is reunited with his uncles Billy Jo Mays and Scott Mueller, grandparents Jessie (Schofield) Taylor and Manley Taylor, Bud Mueller, and step-grandparent Tom Crooks, as well as his great-grandparents Dwight and Marie Pitts.

In accordance with Clint’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and no public services will be held. His family honors his desire for privacy and will remember him in their hearts and private family gatherings.
