It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shane A. Littleton, who departed this world on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the age of 38.

Shane was born on Friday, January 16, 1987, in Centralia, the son of Debra (Whalen) Littleton. He spent his life bringing joy and laughter to all who knew him. He resided in Centralia, Illinois, where he created lasting memories with his family and friends.

Shane is lovingly remembered by his mother, Debra Littleton of Centralia. He is survived by his son, Preston Jolliff of Centralia; brother, Eric Leon Littleton and wife Nicole of Centralia; and two sisters, Andrea Marie Caudill of Missouri and Scott Caudill of Danville, Illinois, and Kristen Rene’ Littleton and fiancé Jon Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri.

He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who adored him, including Eric Littleton II and Lauralai Raab of Centralia, Cory Caudill and Brooke Smith of Springfield, Missouri, Kelsey Marie Littleton of Kansas City, Missouri, Jadi Renee Howes of Centralia, and Lexi Nicole Draper of Centralia. Shane was also cherished by several great-nieces and nephews, two uncles, Gary Whalen and Kevin Whalen both of Centralia, and a cousin, Connor Whalen of Missouri.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Reba Whalen, and cousins Crystal Berning and Jason Berning, whose memories he held dear.

Shane worked with flooring and carpentry. He lived a life filled with music, nature, and laughter. An avid guitarist, he found peace in the great outdoors and brought joy with his incredible sense of humor, often entertaining with his spot-on Jim Carrey impressions. His laughter was contagious, and his smile could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Shane was saved, baptized, and loved his Lord and Savior. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his spirit live on through the love and laughter he shared during his time with us.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Hillcrest Lakeside Chapel in Centralia on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the funeral service following at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the family and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Shane’s Family.
