Salem improved to 12-2 on the year with their 7-4 road win at Wood River. Bre Thurman was the winning pitcher going all 7 innings allowing 8 hits and struck out 8. Thurman also homered, tripled and drove home 2 runs on the day. Salem also got RBI from Lilly Blagoue, Izzy Decker and Natalie Lee.
Odin/Patoka/Sandoval fell to Woodlawn in Midland Trail play 13-3 to fall to 2-1 in the league. Amiya Ray had 2 hits including a 2-run homer. Kenzie Wilkerson also had a hit.
