Marion County Clerk Steve Fox has released the final vote tallies for the March primary election.    He reports there were no changes in the result of any race as a result of the 44 late arriving vote by mail and provisional ballots.

Fox reports incumbent Coroner Troy Cannon gained two votes with the votes that arrived after election day.  The final results show Claude Howell with 2,257 votes and Cannon with 2,119.   Cannon has indicated he may seek a recount.   Fox says the timeline for seeking a recount opens on April 10th for a five day period.

There was no change in the results for Salem Precinct Six committeeman as the final vote tally remains 73 votes for Brock Waggoner and 65 for Sharon Woodward.

All of the final vote results are available on the Platinum Election platform.
