The SC Lady Cougars split a pair of games at Carlyle on Saturday. SC opened with 4-0 loss to Carlyle. The Lady Cougars outhit Carlyle 4-3. Zoey Feldhake doubled and singled with singles from Kyra wift and Kinlee Thompson. In the circle, Taegan Webster went 6 innings allowing 3 this and 4 runs with 10 strikeouts.
SC then beat Odin/Patoka/Sandoval 18-4 in five innings. Lauren Johnson drove in 4 runs along with Bri Buchanan. Webster drove in 3with 2 from Thompson and RBI also from Kyra Swift, Feldhake and Abi Shuler. Johnson was the winning pitcher going the complete game allowing 4 hits and 4 runs with 4 strikeouts. Amiya Ray had 2 RBI with 2 hits including a double for the Lady Eagles.
