Devon Michael Dunham, 41, of Centralia, Illinois, formerly of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away March 13, 2025 at SSM Health Saint Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois. He was born December 2, 1983 in Springfield, Illinois to Karl Edward and Karma (Sanderson) Dunham.
In addition to his parents, Devon is survived by his sisters, Diana Walpole and husband, Bradley of Rogers, Arkansas, Karla Adcock and husband, William of Ziegler, Illinois, Olivia Young and husband, Jeremy of Kell, Illinois, and Karissa Harris and husband, Nick of Salem; nieces and nephews, Erika Davis, Logan Holz, Kimberly Holz, Kate Young, Levi Young, Luke Young, Kara Young, Caden Harris, and Jase Harris; great-niece, Noella Davis; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Devon was preceded in death by his sister, Kara Dunham.
Devon will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Mr. Mitchell Sanderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Memorials may be made in Devon’s honor to Diamond View Group Home in Centralia, Illinois, in appreciation for their compassionate care.
