James Michael Miller passed away March 3rd, 2025. James was born February 4th, 1968 to Claudette Charlton (Miller) and Arther Charlton. James was a hardworking man, who mainly specialized in drywall work. James was preceded in death by his mother Claudette Charlton (Miller) and Sister Roberta Wallace (LeForce).

James is survived by his father Arther Charlton, son Michael J Miller and his wife Kimberly and their children Savanna Brown, Landen Brown, Nolan Brown, Austin Miller, Caden Miller, and a great granddaughter Iris. Daughter Cheryl Howe her husband Dustin and their children Isaiah Howe, Eli Howe, and Noah Howe. He is also survived by his Sister Tialisa Fleming and her children Keith Charlton, Kierra Jones, and Keeiyah Skuart. James is also survived by his estranged Wife Kimberly Hellmeyer, stepson Jesus Ramos and his children Abrianna Ramos, Kaylee Ramos, Braelyn Ramos, and Jesse Ramos. His step daughter Estrella (Star) Ramos and her children Colton McCowen, Awnist McCowen, and Logan Painter.

James is also survived by his adopted mother Dorraine Williams, adopted sister Princess Marcum, niece Ambrozia Thomas and her children, and nephew Dawson Thomas.

James was a man with simple hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, and just being around his family.

A celebration of life service will be held at Catfish Pond in Foundation Park from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm Friday.
