Nancy M. Kleiboeker, age 76 of Carlyle, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Mrs. Kleiboeker was born on September 21, 1948, in Breese, IL, the daughter of the late Florence (Lawler) and Wilson King. Nancy married Roger Kleiboeker at the First Baptist Church in Carlyle on November 24, 1995, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2022.
Nancy is survived by a daughter, Melissa Dieckmann and fiancé Raymond Burkett, and a son, Brian Dieckmann and wife Karen. She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Robert Dieckmann. Nancy’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Heather Sampson (Zach), Travis Dieckmann, Ashley Butler, Jeffrey Ray (friend Amy Martindale), and Josh Ray (friend Amanda Mason); her great-grandchildren: KayLynn Ray, Amaura, and Jenna Ray.
Also surviving are her siblings, Danny King (Elaine), Marsha Randall (John), and Mike King; her special cousin and best friend, Sharon King, alongside numerous other cousins, relatives, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson King; her mother and stepfather, Florence and Joe Kruep and her son, Robert Dieckmann.
Before retiring, Nancy dedicated herself to patient care at the Warren G. Murray Center, touching many lives with her kindness and compassion. An avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Nancy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as bingo, sudoku puzzles, hidden object puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. She loved listening to Rod Stewart music and decorating her home for Christmas with her vast snowman collection. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville.
A funeral service will be held at Zieren Funeral Home, 1111 Clinton Street, Carlyle on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Noon. Interment will follow at Carlyle Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Zieren Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at noon.
