The Franklin Park Bobcats open up regional play tonight at Centralia at 7pm when they take on Carlyle. It’s the second game of the night following top-seed Centralia and Wesclin at 5:30. The championship will be on Thursday night at 6.
Also in Class L regional openers tonight at Carbondale, the hosts take on Johnston City followed by Herrin and Carterville.
The Class S state opening round games are scheduled. Locally, Central City will open with Rome at 9:30, Altamont Lutheran takes on Waltonville at 10:45. In Class M openers on Friday, Nashville will get Chester and Woodlawn plays Joseph Arthur Middle School.
